Tour Dates

Hi Simon, Chris and Gareth, please send me any tour dates as I’m keen to catch you guys in action. Any plans to visit the Sates in 2009? If so, do contact Sarah at Syracuse, she’s booking acts for October fest!

As you know, I did a lecture at the University of Lincoln a couple of weeks ago and I met two people who were really impressed by the performance you did at the drill hall in February. One of them, Kris Konrath(?) said he’d met Chris in a pub and was making a film about Seaton. Is this true (and if so, why wasn’t I informed)!

  1. Hello Rex,

I am going to be the tour manager for Cyril Seaton’s Cycle Roots here in the UK. I have worked with some of the biggest International acts in show business and I am delighted to have secured the contract with these guys. We are still working up a full tour schedule but I know we will be taking in some prestige venues across the UK. We have had an offer to come over to the USA to undertake a one month residency at ‘Toad’ in Colorado Springs (July/Aug 2009) and it would be great to extend our visit to play other venues.
I know there have been several Arts Centres in the US who have expressed interest. It is likely that CSCR will also be making a few trips into mainland Europe in the Summer. The Cycle Roots are definitely going to be participating on the first ‘Contemporary Art Cruise’ a two week trip around the med. There will be art performers doing there stuff on board ship from all across Europe. (A world wide international cruise is planned for 2010) The great thing about this is the ship never docks in any port and all art activity is on board the ship…I believe the cruise ship has received permission to undertake the journey in reverse gear! It sounds an amazing couple of weeks.

    Best wishes

    PS
let me know if you’d like an entrée into the live art scene in Boston. My dear friend Jack Palance established Sal’s Meat Market there (yes, it began in Boston) in 1974, and he owes me one!

  3. Hi Rex,

Easy entry will be most agreeable…see you in Boston, I have been reliably informed that there is a rather swish Café called ‘The Rook Tree’. Shall we converse there…Christmas Eve?

    Harry
